Update (5/5/25): The Oscar winning film I’m Still Here is now available to rent or puchase on Prime Video, Apple TV, and other video-on-demand platforms. As for streaming, on April 6th, I’m Still Here will be available on Globoplay in Brazil. In the U.S. it’s expected to debut May 17 on Netflix.

The best way to experience this year’s Oscar nominated films will always be in the theater, perched in front of the big screen with a bucket of popcorn. Luckily, that’s not the only way to catch the acclaimed films. Plenty of contenders for this year’s award season are available on streaming. So, where can you watch Fernanda Torres’ I’m Still Here?

The film, which has earned three nominations including Best Picture, and Best International Feature, and Best Actress, is still currently in theaters. As for streaming, it’s available for pre-order on Apple TV for $24.99. In addition, with the movie being distributed by Sony Pictures, it’s most likely going to stream on Netflix. In 2021, Netflix and Sony Pictures signed a multiyear, exclusive first pay window licensing deal in the U.S. for theatrically released featured films.

I’m Still Here is a true story about the disappearance of former Brazilian congressman Rubens Paiva after his return from self-exile during the rise of Brazil’s military dictatorship in 1964. The film follows Eunice Paiva’s relentless search for answers about her husbands’ disappearance and navigating the danger that follows. I’m Still Here was adapted from Eunice’s son, Marcelo Rubens Paiva’s memoir of the same name. And Torres’ performance as Eunice earned the Brazilian actress a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 97th Academy Awards.

I’m Still Here hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on January 17, 2024 and recently expanded for nationwide release on February 7th. Due to its recent release the film may not make it to streaming before the ceremony.
