Love is Blind Season 10 has given us one contestant from our communities moving on from the pods to the honeymoon, and then to living together: Brittany Wicker, the Afro-Latina who got engaged to Devonta Anderson. But the two had problems from the beginning, and it all came to a head in the last batch of episodes.

To recap: the two got engaged, seemed pretty okay during the first meeting, but ran into some issues in Mexico, with Brittany asking Devonta to be more demonstrative, and Devonta seeming a bit checked out—though ultimately, willing to work it out. Or at least try.

But when they left Mexico, it still didn’t seem like the two were clicking. If anything, they seemed more like roommates than a couple. And Brittany ended up confronting Devonta about it. When Remezcla talked to Brittany about it, she was clear as to what was the breaking point for her. “I think because the whole purpose of this is to really understand each other and get to a place where we’re going to feel comfortable saying yes in a matter of three weeks, you can’t waste time. You can’t beat around the bush.”

She added. “You can’t try to just like be gentle with the conversation. It’s very much: “So this is how I’m feeling, and either we’re going to figure it out and navigate it together, or we need to just be done because I can’t keep feeling like I’m not being seen, but you are seeing me.”

“I think for me it was just very much: So, like we are on a time crunch and either we’re going to figure this out and make it work and get to the point of marriage and babies and all of the things, or we’re not.”

Will they? The two are still together at the end of this week’s batch of episodes of Love is Blind. But with the weddings getting closer, we’ll have to continue watching to find out if they say “I do” or not.
