The second season of La casa de papel (otherwise known as Money Heist, a.k.a. Netflix’s most watched non-English language series ever) ended in what could conceivably be described as a happy ending. Our favorite heist team had, after all, avoided being captured in their obscenely complicated plan to rob the Royal Mint of Spain after a certain team member sacrificed himself by offering themselves up to the police. Last we saw of them, Raquel (Itziar Ituño) had met up with The Profesor (Álvaro Morte) in the idyllic-looking island of Palawan a year after all was said and done.

But from the very first teaser of the upcoming third season (what? you thought Netflix was going to leave well enough alone?), it’s clear we’re picking up right where those two left off. Amidst beachside smooches, street-wide celebrations, and happy smiles all around, the teaser announces that these holidays are over. Most likely due to the fact that a cavalcade of armed forces is set to storm their beachfront paradise. Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long. The show will be back this summer. In the meantime, take a look at the steamy release date announcement below.

La casa de papel returns to Netflix on July 19, 2019.
