The question on everyone’s mind since the end of Moon Knight is: what’s next for the character? Would we get a Season 2? Would the character be appearing in any of the upcoming MCU movies? Well, it seems like the question now has an answer – and we got out the scoop from TikTok, of all places. But not just any regular fan’s TikTok, either — it’s Mohamed Diab’s daughter

Yes, the teen set the MCU world by storm with her short video, which basically has her asking her father – and a bearded Oscar Isaac – if the show would be getting a second season, to which Isaac replies, “Why else would we be in Cairo?”

It’s as close of a confirmation as we’re probably going to get for a while, considering that Marvel took forever even to confirm Oscar Isaac was playing Moon Knight in the first place. But it’s a welcome development for a show that ended on a cliffhanger of sorts and with a character who still felt like he had much more to give.

The show follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift show employee who discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. But that’s not all. Marc is also the avatar of an Egyptian God, Konshu. And there’s discord among the Gods, which Marc/Steven must help put right before the entire world suffers the consequences. The first season sees Marc embrace both sides of himself, only for viewers to discover a third personality lurking, one Marc and Steven are unaware of.

Perfect setup for the second season, it now seems we’re getting. For now, the first season of Moon Knight is available to stream on Disney+.
