Oscar Isaac Leads Second Season of Netflix Series ‘BEEF’

Oscar Isaac is set to have beef with someone soon. Netflix’s BEEF, the anthology series from Lee Sung Jin is returning for a second installment, with Isaac set to star alongside Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny.
The synopsis for Season 2 reads “Newly-engaged Ashley Miller ( Spaeny) and Austin Davis ( Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Mulligan). Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh Jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang Ho).” Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, and Jake Schreier are the executive producers.
The second season of the show will consist of eight 30-minute episodes. And we now have first look images for Season 2 containing Isaac, Mulligan, Melton, and Spaeny.
The first season of BEEF, starring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun won 8 Emmy Awards, 4 Critics Choice Awards, 3 Golden Globe Awards, and 2 SAG Awards, among its many honors.
Isaac has a few other projects in the pipeline. He is set to star alongside Kristen Stewart in the vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods. Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the film follows Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart), a married couple who cross paths with a “ mysterious and enigmatic ” character who will introduce them to “a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.”
On top of that, Oscar Isaac will also star alongside Jason Momoa and Gerard Butler in the crime thriller In the Hand of Dante. That film is set to be directed by Oscar nominee Julian Schnabel and executive produced by Martin Scorsese. And he’ll be playing Dr. Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
BEEF Season 2 will premiere April 16, 2026.
