Just in time for the massive Día de Muertos celebrations about to start across Mexico’s cemeteries, Pixar’s newest animated film Coco opened in theaters this past weekend. Those of us in the United States won’t be able to see it until November 22 (unless you live in a border town), but judging from the internet’s reactions it will be well worth the wait.

Mexicans are using the hashtag #CocoLaPelicula to shower praise on directors Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina, and to share that the emotional movie had audiences in tears. Several people also opined that it made them even more proud to be Mexican.

Here are some of the best reactions.
