Snow White isn’t the only princess actress Rachel Zegler is playing in an upcoming movie.

The latest announcement about Zegler’s flourishing career post-West Side Story is that she will lend her voice to an animated character in the animated film Spellbound. According to Deadline, Zegler will play Ellian, a princess who goes on a quest to save her kingdom from an evil spell that has transformed her parents into monsters.

“This project is so special to me,” Zegler wrote on Twitter alongside a photo from the animated film featuring a young girl trying to keep her hands on two rotund creatures running and flying through a picturesque landscape.

Creatives behind the film include director Vicky Jenson (Shrek) and writers Lauren Hynek (Mulan), Elizabeth Martin (Mulan), and Linda Woolverton (Maleficent). The original score is written by Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast), with lyrics by Oscar nominee Glenn Slater (Tangled).

Along with Spellbound, Zegler is currently filming the live-action version of Disney’s Snow White where she plays the titular princess. She will also be seen this year in the superhero sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Zegler’s Shazam! director, David F. Sandberg, joked with her on Twitter when he learned about her role in Spellbound.

“Wait, are you going to be singing in every movie except Shazam 2?” he wrote. “We’re going to look like fools hiring you just for acting talent and charisma!”

Zegler responded to Sandberg that maybe an extra scene needed to be added to the sequel.

“You make an excellent point David,” she tweeted. “I guess it’s time to add a post credit musical number for me and Zac[hary Levi].”

On Sunday (April 3), Rachel Zegler was on the stage at the Grammy Awards during the In Memoriam segment of the ceremony singing alongside Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, and Leslie Odom Jr.
