Rauw Alejandro Making His Film Debut — Here’s Everything We Know

After conquering the music scene, Rauw Alejandro is stepping into the world of film. The Puerto Rican superstar will soon head to the big screen in the upcoming movie Viva La Madness.

Alejandro is known for his big hits like “Todo De Ti,” “Desesperados” featuring Chencho Corleone, and “Qué Pasaría…” with Bad Bunny. He is also no stranger to acting. Throughout his career, Alejandro has appeared on series like La Reina Del Flow and Netflix’s Sky Rojo. Now he will flex his acting chops in his very first film role. Alejandro is a part of the cast of the action thriller Viva La Madness, which will be directed by Guy Ritchie.

According to Deadline, Viva La Madness is currently in production in London. While details about the movie are being held under wraps, it will be based on J.J. Connolly’s 2011 crime novel of the same name. Ritchie is also writing the script with Connolly.

Alejandro will be credited by his birth name Raúl Alejandro. And his co-stars include Brazilian-American actress Camila Mendes, Jason Isaacs, Vinnie Jones, and Babs Olusanmokun. The cast is so far rounded out by Ben Foster and Jonny Lee Miller. As of press time, there’s no word on when to expect the movie.

This past weekend, Alejandro was in attendance at the 2026 Grammy Awards. His Cosa Nuestra LP was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album. The award ended up going to Natalia Lafourcade for her album Cancionera
