Sofía Vergara is back with her “family.” The actress took to Instagram early on Thursday, November 16 to share numerous pictures from what she called the first Modern Family reunion. The show, which starred Vergara as Gloria Pritchett, ran for 11 seasons on ABC.
Some of the cast had previously reunited at Sarah Hyland’s wedding. This time, however, the reunion seemed to include almost everyone, with the notable exception of Ty Burell. The actor, who played Phil Dunphy on Modern Family, was absent from this reunion. His castmates, however, made sure to hold up a picture of him to include him in the full cast photo.
The picture placement, however, scared some people online – with fans thinking something might have happened to Burell or that he had died.
But it was just a case of scheduling conflicts, and a cast that made sure to include Burell in the reunion, even if he couldn’t physically be there.
Vergara didn’t just share pictures with the whole cast, she singled out on-screen husband Ed O’Neil with a caption that read “I love u Ed O’Neil.”
She also shared a picture with Rico Rodriguez, who played her son Manny Delgado on the show alongside her carousel of pictures with the cast.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who played Mitchell on Modern Family, got his own Instagram post as well, as he and Vergara are seen laughing as they sit on the floor.
