WATCH: KPop Demon Hunters Make Surprise Cameo During Bad Bunny Sketch on SNL

Bad Bunny is a fan of another musical act, even if it’s a fictional one. In a sketch during the Season 51 premiere of the show, the singer played a superfan of the fictional band that has become famous thanks to the Netflix movie KPop Demon Hunters. And he even brought the real Huntrix (HUNTR/X) to help him. Or the women who do the singing in the film.
Yes, that’s right, Audrey Nuna (Rumi), EJAE (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey), aka Huntrix, the demon-hunting trio who use their musical and fighting skills to combat supernatural forces, showed up to help Bad Bunny, Mikey Day, Chloe Fineman, and Sarah Sherman survive their brunch. Because, apparently, anything can happen at brunch! Even some cross-platform collaboration.
The sketch sees a group of friends reunite for brunch after what is seemingly a long time without seeing each other, with the group bemoaning how hard it is to find time to see friends or experience any culture. But as the group discusses wanting to see Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, or Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Bad Bunny’s character is only interested in talking about KPop Demon Hunters.
And if we’re being fair, he’s not alone. KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time, with over 314 million views as of September 2025. And though his friends want to argue the movie is for kids, Bad Bunny insists it’s for “smart adults.” And he is more or less proven right when they’re attacked by a member of the Saja Boys, played by Bowen Yang, and have to be saved by Huntrix.

Saturday Night Live Season 51 is just starting, but it seems like they–and Bad Bunny–have been paying attention to what’s popular. Outside of the singer, of course, who is set to headline next year’s Super Bowl.
