In anticipation of Wednesday Season 2, Netflix released 6 minutes of footage that clues us in on what the titular character has been up to. And she’s not sitting by and waiting for monsters to find her. She’s finding them.
The 6 minutes of Season 2 debuted Netflix’s fan event Tudum 2025. Hosted at the Kia Forum, Wednesday cast members Jenna Ortega, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, and Joanna Lumley took the stage to introduce fans to what’s coming for Wednesday.
During her summer vacation from Nevermore, Wednesday has taken it upon herself to A) master her psychic abilities and B) find out who is the Kansas City Scalper. With a little help from Thing she manages to use her psychic abilities to find the elusive killer. But first up is another daunting challenge: an airport security checkpoint.
As the TSA officer asks, “Anything else on your person?” Wednesday reveals the absolute arsenal of weapons. But it’s not the weapons or Thing that phase the TSA officer. It’s the over the weight lotion that Wednesday has on her person. After a fierce glare send Things way, the scene moves forward to Wednesday’s capture and well… you should watch the 6 minutes below!
Wednesday Season 2 is set to premiere in 2 parts in 2025 on Netflix. Part 1 debuts August 6 and Part 2 September 3.
