Actress Francia Raísa (How I Met Your Father) has partnered with La Victoria to release a pair of new salsa flavors.
For a limited time, the brand will release two varieties of La Victoria Salsa Crafted by Francia Raísa: Fire Roasted Salsa and Fire Roasted Salsa Verde. The inspiration for the salsa comes from Raísa’s own Mexican grandmother and the company’s long commitment to quality ingredients.
“I grew up in Los Angeles eating homemade Mexican food every day, and when I left home, what I missed most was the food – especially the salsa,” Raísa said in a statement. “It has been 20 years since I ran home and begged my mom to teach me to make salsa, and now, she says I make it better than her.”
Raísa added that her love for salsa led her to collaborate with the La Victoria brand, which she describes as “a brand with a century-long commitment to quality and tradition” and one that “perfectly complemented my family’s cherished salsa recipe.”
The Fire Roasted Salsa is prepared with fire-roasted tomatoes and features a balance between the smoky and spicy. “You will enjoy a touch of heat that enhances every bite, while its blended texture pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes,” the brand says in a release.
The “smooth texture” of the Fire Roasted Salsa Verde is made with fire-roasted tomatillos that create a “smoky and tangy” flavor. It makes it a “versatile condiment” for countless dishes – from breakfast tacos to pork tamales.
