Taco Bell X Milk Bar Collab Is a Birthday Cake Twist to the Churro

Taco Bell’s dessert menu just got a new birthday cake upgrade. The fast-food chain is now serving Milk Bar Birthday Cake churros nationwide as part of a limited-time collaboration with New York-based dessert shop Milk Bar founded by Christina Tosi.
Combining Milk Bar’s nostalgic birthday cake flavor and Taco Bell’s Mexican-inspired menu, the collaboration takes the popular Mexican dessert to a new level by filling warm, crispy churros with birthday cake frosting and topping them with a mix of Milk Bar-pink and rainbow confetti sprinkles.
Remezcla attended the launch of Taco Bell x Milk Bar churro launch party event. After greeting everyone, Tosi said, “[The Taco Bell x Milk Bar churro] is the spirit of what both brands embody, which is we just all need a moment in life. We all deserve that treat yourself moment. The lil treat.”
Reviews have started to come in, with many commenting on how much they like the birthday cake twist. For example, Boricua food content creator LaRissa Rosario already tried the new churros with her daughter and raved about them on TikTok. “Oh my god,” she said as she bit into churro. “This is insane. Taco Bell, this is fire. A fresh, warm, doughy churro.”
This isn’t the first time the two brands collaborate. In 2022, Taco Bell offered Strawberry Bell Truffles, made with Milk Bar’s classic vanilla cake and coated with tiny pieces of Taco Bell’s crunchy taco shells.
“We love partnerships that play with form and flavor, which is exactly what we’ve done with this extra-celebratory take on the churro,” said Taco Bell Global Chief Food Innovation Officer Liz Matthews in a press release. “A visit to Taco Bell isn’t complete without savoring the sweets, and this special little treat captures the sweet, nostalgic birthday cake flavors and festive feeling with every bite, making every occasion feel like your special day.”
You can purchase the Milk Bar Birthday Cake churros for $1.99 for one or $2.99 for two. These churros will only be available for a limited time only.
