Prices range from $45 to $500, with the most affordable option being a 45-minute “kailani journey” experience at its facilities that can be paired with a massage or facial (with most offerings being between $95 to $220).
Calling all the curly babes! Looking to transform your curly locks? Located in San Juan at Avenida 65th Infanteria, Curl Boss Salon is a salon that specializes in curly cuts and textured hair. The salon was co-founded by couple Vimarie Santiago and Ricardo La Santa. Its main stylist is co-founder Vimarie, who also hosts The Curl podcast. The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday, and they accept appointments via Whatsapp message.
Looking for something more fashion-forward? Fairy Nailz, and the artist Valeria, is the go-to nail studio for a more futuristic look. Located in Domenech Avenue, this artist doesn’t work with acrylics, but instead focuses on natural nails, gel-x tips, nail art, press-ons. The looks featured are chromatic, colorful, and a little alien-like. Fairy Nailz only accepts appointments via Instagram DMs with a $30 deposit to secure the appointment, no walk-ins accepted.
Located in Condado, Nika Beauty specializes in the Japanese Head Spa, Alma TED hair restoration and laser hair removal. But that’s not all they are, Nika Beauty also offers facials, body sculpting, and massage therapy. If there’s one thing you should go to this spa for is its Japanese Head Spa, a ten-step service with a scalp analysis, deep cleansing, massages, its signature halo water ring therapy, and more — which is $110 by itself or $145 with a mini facial.
While this nail studio isn’t located in San Juan or near the Choli, if you’re looking to do your nails gorgeous, you will have to travel to Bayamon. The Nail Bar, founded and run by Gabriela Claudio, is located in the gnailstudiobygab studio. They do manicures with builder and hard gels, with both gel tips and nail art — with an emphasis on a clean-girl aesthetic. Appointments are made by Instagram DM though, so plan ahead.

The Soul Spa and Wellness Center offers a blend of relaxing spa experiences and medical services — whether it’s dermal-fillers, microneedling, massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, or even medical procedures with chiropractors and gynecologists. Located at Clínica Las Américas, the center’s prices range from $20 for 15 minutes at a sauna to $350 for SkinPen Microneedling.
Transforming your whole look for the concert? Braids by Ki is a braiding superstar. Located in Trujillo Alto, Kiara Salicrup Rivera is a certified hair stylist in braids who has done all kinds of braids. She offers everything from Box and Twist to Fauxlocs and Crochet, whether it’s long, short, or medium with prices ranging from $50 to $450. Appointments are requested online only, and they require a ATH Movil deposit to secure it.
