Thanks to BuzzFeed, we now know that a #burritoselfie is a thing. While they don’t explain how the trend started, I now know – based on how long ago the hashtag first popped up on Twitter – that they weren’t inspired by the San Francisco writer who took engagement photos with a burrito.
