The highly anticipated Cardi B appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast is finally here!

Dropping on Wednesday, September 24th, Cardi B joined Alex in the studio to talk about everything from her most iconic lyrics to her biggest fantasies and what comes after divorce. And per usual, Cardi B delivered unfiltered moment after unfiltered moment where she was honest about everything from her body, to falling in love, and even sucking toes.

When she got her butt pierced

At the 4:43 mark Cardi recounted how she got her butt pierced after seeing it and thinking it was cute. And when asked if it hurt, she explained that, no, it didn’t hurt due to the piercing being in a numb area after getting surgery. The most unfiltered part of this conversation came when she recounted how she lost it.

“It was the easiest piercing ever. It cost me like $13,000 because it was real diamonds. And guess what? It went down the toilet,” Cardi B said, “I was looking around. And I was looking at my pants and my panties and stuff and I’m like, “Yep, went down the toilet.”

The BBL rumor

At the 8:14 mark Cardi was asked about the craziest rumor she had heard about herself. She started off by saying that some of the rumors around her are pretty dark sometimes. But the rumor that really has confused her is the one where her boyfriend left her because “my BBL stink.”

“I’m very anal about how I smell. You know what I’m saying? I don’t know who made the rumors that BBL’s stink, but it’s like it doesn’t stink. Why? How would a BBL stink if you if you don’t got no open wounds? Why? Cuz your a** is fatter? You can’t clean a fat a**? You don’t know how to clean a fat a**?”

Calling Lizzo up

At the 13:33 mark Cardi picked out a question from a bowl that said, “Can you help me make a clean version of this lyric? Micro-pen*s. I call that drowning in the pus**.” And with no real hesitation, she called singer Lizzo. And Lizzo picked up.

“Can you help me make a clean version of this lyric?” Cardi asked. After explaining Lizzo can be heard laughing and then asks, “Wait, you said Michael pen*s?” Lizzo said she would think about it and Cardi ended the call and said, “Lizzo is the sweetest person. That’s why I was like, “Gah, I know somebody.”

How she became a stripper

At the 16:00 mark Cardi recounted how she got into being a stripper. At the time she got fired from a supermarket and was desperate for work. And her manager recommended the club across the street.

“I was just talking like to one of the managers of the supermarket. And I was just like, I need this job so much. You think you could talk to this this and that person so they won’t fire me? And he was like, “You don’t even need this job,” Cardi unapologetically explained, “He was Turkish. “Um, you don’t even need this job. You need you should go across the street. They have really pretty girls. You have nice body. I know people there.” And I was like, for real?”

What kept her going

At 18:54 she was asked what kept her going when she was at the start of her career. And the answer was simple and honest: bills had to be paid.

“Just the fact that the bill have to be paid. It doesn’t matter… it don’t matter if things not going well. The rent got to be paid. Like the rent… oh, you’re crying. Oh, you’re sad. Nobody, your landlord is not trying to hear that you ain’t made enough money this week, that you ain’t got no food to eat, that you going through it with a man. They are not trying to hear that, b*tch. Where’s my eleven-hundred?”

Sucking toes

At the 34:13 mark they played another game called “WAP of flop.” Alex gave Cardi a scenario and if it’s a turn on, she says “WAP” and if it’s a turn off, she says “flop.” And when asked, “He is obsessed with sucking toes” Cardi hit back with “A wappa flop.”

She explained, “I like when my man love my toes. And I like when my significant other want to play with my feet and stuff. But it’s like if it’s a guy that is like, “I want to suck your toes all day.” It’s like oh my gosh, how many toes you suck? You got a toe thing?”

The clean version of WAP

At the 40:21 mark Cardi was asked how she felt recording the clean version of her 2020 song “WAP.” Cardi’s face immediately fell and she said, “I hated it. It’s so stupid.”

As the conversation continued, Cardi cringed at the clean lyrics and the word “gushy.” “There’s certain words that I really just don’t like.” And the part of the conversation ended when she told Alex, “Can you please… it’s torture. That’s such an ugly word.”

People commenting on her body

At the 41:11 mark she was asked about how in one interview Cardi mentioned how she wanted people to stop commenting about her body and what has been her experience when it comes to the objectification of her body throughout her career.

“The misconception that people have of me is just like that I’m always in the table. And like I just give birth and I automatically go and like get surgery. I take my time cuz I don’t want to die,” Cardi said before adding a bit about how people want her to reduce her butt. “I think you guys think that people just plug something inside my a**hole and just suck it out. For me to reduce my butt, I have to literally sit on a table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top, and be in bedrest for like 3 months. So it’s like I’m not going to put myself in that position again because you don’t like my body. I’m comfortable. I learned to live with it.”

Falling in love and cheating

Cardi continued the surgery conversation at the 45:28 mark and how people say that “Oh, she be doing surgery because this guy always becheating on her and stuff like that.”

She shut that down real quick and said, “When a man fall in love with me, they fall in love for me, for my p**sy, for my personality, and because I’m a really pretty girl. If a man is going to cheat on you, they’re just going to cheat on you because that’s just men. A man will cheat on you with the ugliest, brokest, probably finest or probably the ugliest b*tches. It really depends on the night.”

Addressing Stefon Diggs

At the 54:26 Cardi was asked her new boyfriend and father of her unborn child Stefon Diggs. And for the first time in the Call Her Daddy interview, Cardi got a bit shy.

“I could feel the vibe that he liked me, but he like never approached me,” Cardi said, recounting how he was really respectful but she knew she needed to move on from her past relationship. And things really started hitting off with Stefon during their calls. “It’s almost like he always hit me up like at the right time. He almost hit me up like at the times that I feel uneasy. I be like, I don’t know if I should deal with this person cuz I know this person. He’s a little hot but I’m going to talk. And then we had really good conversations and it got to the point that it was like damn we talked for hours, and six hours, and seven hours and it’s like there were days that it’s like even when we wasn’t talking I was like I need to talk to this person cuz I’m talking to this person every day.”
