When the holidays roll around, many of us go all out on our lewks. It’s why Latinos have jokingly dubbed this time of year as “sala season.” Essentially, we all get dressed up to hang out in our (or our relatives’) living rooms. But since the season is just getting started, you may still need some help getting your looks in order. That’s why we’ve put together a list of highlighters to keep you glowing through the holidays.

Texas-based Chaos Makeup is behind some of the coolest makeup looks on Instagram. Between its color-changing pigments and richly pigmented hues, Chaos makes us want to be bolder with our looks. Though the company sells many different kinds of highlighters (both pressed and loose), we can’t get enough of the Kaleidoscope Rainbow Highlighter, which gives you an iridescent glow.

Vive Cosmetics has already made an impact with its lipsticks, which are long-lasting but also have fun names, such as Dímelo, Jangueo, and Chingona. The brand only recently branched out to highlighters, and introduced the Luz & Glow Highlighter Duo, one of which is named Diosa and the other is named Reina. Both options are velvety and rich. The Diosa option has a golden metallic finish. Reina is a lighter gold, but it has also has a metallic finish. Regardless of which option you choose, you’ll be looking fly.

Melt Cosmetics is a fave among the beauty crowd, and when you scroll through the brand’s Instagram page, it’s easy to see why. The company is all about bold looks and striking colors. Nova – a vivid bronze-y highlighter – is no exception.
Since its inception, Reina Rebelde has celebrated the Latinx community’s duality. Though lipstick was a natural starting point for founder Regina Merson, the brand has expanded into other categories. And thankfully, that means we have the On Your Face Countour + Color Trio, which includes a pearl rose blush, a matte bronzer, and a pearl white highlighter.

Since 2009, molecular bacteriologist Simone Xavier and civil engineer Rene Xavier Filho have created high-quality makeup with the latest technology. Though the duo started off with a brush set, but has developed more products throughout the years.
