9 Taco Trucks That Could Make America Great Again

As a response to Donald Trump’s immigration speech on Wednesday – where he reiterated he’d deport all undocumented immigrants, despite his purported softening on immigration – his Hispanic Advisory Board has begun to fall apart. According to Talking Points Memo, at least four members have stopped supporting Trump because of his hardline stance on immigration. Jacob Monty told CNN, “It was the right for me to do to try to see if we could reason with him and get him to articulate a plan that was realistic and republic. But what we heard last night was not a Republican plan. That was pure populist propaganda.”

As Latinos try to distance themselves from Trump, Mexican-born Marco Gutierrez doubled down. In an interview with MSNBC’s All In With Chris Hayes, the Latinos for Trump founder took a page out of the Republican candidate’s book and denigrated his own people. “My culture is a very dominant culture,” he said. “It is imposing and it’s causing problems. If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks on every corner.”
