Ted Cruz’s New Beard Has Taken Over the Internet

While many of us were enjoying our days off and stuffing ourselves with leftovers (the true stars of Thanksgiving), Ted Cruz was growing a beard. In an image shared by Business Insider‘s Joe Perticone, we learned that the senator now has a beard. The image, while admittedly not the best quality, shows some fuzz on his cheek (but not on his chin?).
The image has inspired some of the funniest commentary online, including The Cut‘s investigation into why Cruz decided to go for the five o’clock shadow look. Check out what people are saying about his beard, which has now taken over the internet, below.
