The Love is Blind Season 7 reunion means the Washington D.C. season of the show has finally come to an end. After the Season 7 finale that saw Ramses break up with a devastated Marissa and Taylor and Garrett and Ashley and Tyler say “I do,” the reunion touched upon all the drama for the season as hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey questioned contestants about what went right, what went wrong and what we didn’t get to see this season.
From alleged comments about Hannah’s looks to Stephen’s sleep study and Marissa coming for Nick more than Ramses, here are the biggest takeaways from the Love Is Blind Season 7 reunion.
One of the biggest surprises comes when Hannah reveals that Nick had not-so-nice things to say about her looks behind her back. Nick tries to deny it. But the women all call him out on it. Stephen surprisingly admits he heard a part of it. And then, when it seems like no one’s going to go on the record and confirm the worst of what Nick said – Ramses decides to throw him under the bus and tell him it’s time for “accountability.” Ouch.
The piling on Nick shouldn’t distract from the fact that, right before it all got turned around, Hannah was rightfully called out for the way she treated him. She doubled down and then tripled down, but later finally admitted she was wrong and apologized to Nick.
Vanessa: “So you don’t have any remorse about how you were communicating with Nick during your engagement?”
Marissa’s mom got a lot of heat this season of Love is Blind for how she treated Ramses, but after the way he ended up treating Marissa it’s hard to blame her. At the Love is Blind reunion, she takes her time to call him out again for hurting her daughter but then thanks him for breaking up with her as that was, ultimately, what was best for Marissa.
i talked shit about marissa’s mom on that episode where she first met ramses but i take it all back .. she read the situation right all along 😭😭 my bad ms. mama #LoveIsBlind7#LoveIsBlindReunion
Marissa Spends More Time Defending Hannah Than Confronting Ramses
Marissa confesses that watching the breakup with Ramses was painful, but she spends more time during the Love Is Blind reunion proving that she’ll have Hannah’s back no matter what than she does dunking on Ramses. She’s the one who gets Ramses to confirm that Nick did speak about Hannah’s looks.
When asked to explain the texts from the sleep study that destroyed his relationship with Monica, Stephen says no one wants to hear his side of the story, so why should he give it? Because this is the reunion and we want answers. And drama!
We’d seen all the talk about it, but the reunion confirmed that Garrett’s glow-up is real, and though Nick Lachey is quick to call it ‘Taylor’s Version’ giving all the credit to his wife, she says it’s all Garrett. Well, that and having someone to look good for.
Tyler addresses the whole drama with his three “sperm donor babies,” with him and Ashley looking like a united front and Ashley confirming she knew the whole story before marrying him. To each their own while the internet looks on in confusion.
We still have no real clue why Tim broke up with Alex, except that it was probably a good thing because she was never going to get a word in with him in the room. But during the reunion, we got perspective on how hard Alex works and why that nap happened.
Apparently Leo and Brittany went to Miami together. Things didn’t work out. But now they’re friends, and they talk for hours every day, even though she’s dating someone else. Weird. But again, to each their own.
Taylor and Garrett both have roots in DC so they stayed instead of heading to San Diego. Marriage is compromise! That’s it.
I actually really respect Taylor for giving up moving back to San Diego because Garrett wants to stay closer to his family in VA. Marriage is about compromise & since she already has roots in DC, it feels more natural. #LoveIsBlind
