Move over, Libras, it’s Scorpio season! Often described as passionate, determined, and intuitive, we’re continuing our monthly listicle with Scorpio, which approximately runs from Oct. 23 to Nov. 21. The scales sign is part of the Water sign collective with Cancer and Pisces. We’ve already celebrated our Cancer favs, now, let’s continue with our dear Scorpios.

There are many famous Latine Scorpios, including the Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, whose passion and determination have taken her music to new audiences since her first TRAP KITTY EP (2022). Take this into consideration: in only three years, she’s already opening massive concerts for major artists like Colombian pop star Karol G and American pop star Billie Eilish. Another Scorpio trait she shows is trusting her intuition by being her authentic self, which helps her connect with her fans. But we’re also celebrating other mainstream artists this month. We’re also toasting to Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó, whose birthday is Nov. 14.

Besides our aforementioned beloved Scorpios, more artists celebrating another year around the sun this month include Argentinean singer Emilia, Chilean-American singer Paloma Mami and Mexican crooner Humbe, who have shown their passion through music and in concert performances. We are also toasting to Venezuelan singer-songwriter La Cruz, Mexican singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana, and Argentinean rising singer Milo J, who have all shown that they trusted their intuition and made music that speaks to their respective fan bases.

What else do we love about each Scorpio artist? The way they keep their fans on their toes with their catchy songs that are worth pressing replay on. From Young Miko’s sensual bop “Meiomi” to Milo J’s folk track “Recordé,” here are seven songs to celebrate our favorite scorpions on their birthday month.

And for any Scorpios reading this: Happy birthday!

Young Miko – “Meiomi”

Young Miko’s come-up story is nothing short of inspiring. The Boricua rapper’s determination shows as she continues to drop banger after banger. Not only that, but her passion is recognized with increasing milestones. For example, she recently added a second date after selling out her debut performance at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan. How’s that for someone who was only Bad Bunny’s surprise guest at his Un Verano Sin Ti performances in the same venue back in 2022? Now, she has the opportunity to not only capture her musical trajectory in one setlist, but also pay it forward by highlighting new Puerto Rican artists she’s currently into. Bravo!

Emilia – “perfectas”

Celebrating her birthday on Oct. 29, Emilia Mernes is one of Argentina’s most beloved pop stars. She shows her Scorpio’s knack for determination for stardom by the way she’s not only a singer, but also a model and actress. And no, she hasn’t been a soloist all her life—she started out in an Uruguayan cumbia pop band called Rombai from 2016 to 2018, which shows she’s always had a passion for being on stage. Now, she’s slaying on her own on a national scale and beyond. She recently held her debut U.S. tour in major cities like Miami, Los Angeles, and Miami, demonstrating that she’s on the right career path.

Paloma Mami – “ASTROS”

Chilean-American artist Paloma Mami is an artist who has a loyal fan base thanks to hits like “ULTRA SOLO REMIX” with Polimá Westcoast, Pailita, Feid, and De La Ghetto, “No Te Debí Besar” with C. Tangana, and “VENENO” with Junior H. Celebrating her birthday on Nov. 11, the Scorpio queen fully embraces her sign. When asked about being a Scorpio, she said, “We are divine. We’re a blast. We’re the best sign that there is. You can’t tell me there’s a better sign than a Scorpio. It’s the best sign. We got it all.” And I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to argue with a Scorpio.

Humbe – “1960”

After going viral with his heartfelt song “fantasmas,” Humbe is showing the world he has more to offer. With other hits like “Patadas de Ahogado” with Latin Mafia, “AMOR DE CINE,” and “KINTSUGI,” the Mexican crooner shows his passion for music—all while wearing his heart on his sleeve. Another word that often describes a Scorpio? Being fiercely loyal—or obsessed. He explores this sentiment in his song “1960,” which he describes as “an echo of a story that fades away in time. A love, an obsession, or perhaps just a reflection of something I once was and am no longer.” Sounds about right.

La Cruz – “Arequipe”

Born Alfonso La Cruz, the Venezuelan reggaetonero leads his life by his passion: music. His love for music is so important to him that it led him to relocate from Venezuela to Spain because of the crisis in his country. He started his career by competing in the reality singing competition Operación Triunfo, which would set him to kick off his solo career. Now, he has garnered fans and attention with hits like “Te Conocí Bailando,” “Rough” with Luísa Sonza, and “Quítate La Ropa.” Moreover, he’s known as one of the artists who’s normalizing gay reggaeton, leaving his mark in part thanks to his Zodiac sign’s spot-on intuition to pursue music.

Ximena Sariñana — “No Es Igual”

Born on Oct. 29, Ximena Sariñana is one of the most popular Mexican singer-songwriters and actresses since the 1990s. Her Zodiac sign’s traits – like passion and determination – glow in her work, especially since she’s always grinding. With hits like “Mis Sentimientos,” “Resistiré,” and “Respiro (Cap. 8)”; and iconic roles in telenovelas and films like Luz Clarita, Amar te duele, and Coraline. It’s safe to say that Sariñana is an important figure in Mexican pop culture. What else do we love about this Scorpio? She trusts her musical intuition and experiments with multiple genres. Without the latter trait, we might’ve never heard the masterpiece she created with her debut album, Mediocre.

Milo J – “Recordé”

Blowing out birthday candles on Oct. 25, Milo J is another young Scorpio on our radar. After he was hyped by Argentinean producer/DJ Bizarrap, the baritone singer is ready for his spotlight. However, while many listeners expected him to continue in the hip-hop realm, Milo J had something else in mind. Showing his Zodiac sign’s intuition, the singer instead delved into his country’s folklore in his new album La Vida Era Más Corta, a genre he’s “obsessed” with. “What happens is that everyone recognizes folklore as part of our culture,” he told Remezcla earlier this year. “But in Buenos Aires, people don’t really listen to it. I’m obsessed with folklore, but young people haven’t gotten into it yet.” A Scorpio being obsessed with something? Groundbreaking.
