Where are our Leos at? Frequently known for their charisma, leadership qualities, and creative self-expression, Leo is the sign we’re continuing our monthly listicle with, which runs from approximately July 23 to Aug. 22. We’ve already celebrated Aries, so are you ready to hear all about the second Fire sign of the year?
There are many diverse Leos in our talented Latine music industry. One of the most recognized Leos is Spanish-Mexican pop icon Belinda, whom we featured last year alongside other emerging and established gems like YENDRY, Elsa y Elmar, Paco Amoroso, Coco & Breezy, Juanes, and Belanova’s Denisse Guerrero. This year, we’re toasting to artists of the same caliber, such as Colombian reggaeton star Feid, música mexicana artist Tito Double P, and Puerto Rican singer Álvaro Díaz. We are also celebrating Puerto Rican-American indie pop singer CSNDRA, Puerto Rican-American icon Jennifer Lopez, Colombian giant Carlos Vives, and Mexican-American pop star Demi Lovato.
You might know the aforementioned artists for different milestones in their respective journeys, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have similar traits based on their Fire sign. Take Feid’s on-stage charisma as an example: the reggaetonero has established a whole green-hued brand with his entertaining persona. Furthermore, his sign’s knack for self-expression shows not only in his music but also in his fashion collaborations, which showcase his creativity. Another music figurehead who channels these same qualities is JLo, whose charisma and self-expression have helped her rebrand and succeed throughout decades as a successful businesswoman. Let’s just say Leos love being good at what they do.
From Feid’s latest collaboration to Lovato’s recent pop banger, here are seven songs that celebrate these beloved musical figureheads on their birthday month.
And for any Leos reading this: Happy birthday!
Feid – “PIENXA EN MI”
Born on Aug. 19, this Leo’s self-expression shines throughout his pop stardom. His zodiac’s self-expression shows not only in his musical repertoire but also in his fashion collaborations, such as his Salomon sneakers. Moreover, his creativity shows through his brand’s signature shade of green, which has even been recognized by the Pantone Color Institute. That’s how important self-expression is to this Leo, and he continuously keeps leaving his mark in multiple realms. Next up, he’s going to keep expanding his music audience by headlining one of the biggest EDM festivals in Los Angeles, Hard Summer 2025, on Aug. 2. How’s that for a pre-birthday celebration?
Tito Double P – “ME VALE V”
Celebrating another year around the sun on Aug. 18, Tito Double P is another artist to celebrate this Fire season. Known for his hard-hitting hits like “POR SUS BESOS,” “daño,” and “dopamina” with Peso Pluma, the música mexicana star is a current staple in the Regional Mexican industry. Especially rising in the music industry alongside his famous cousin La Doble P. But besides his chart-topping songs, another aspect that distinguishes this Leo is his onstage charisma, which—borderline eccentric at times—gets the crowd engaged and going. But that’s the thing about Leos: they love being the center of attention. And Tito thrives in it.
Álvaro Díaz – “MI DROGA FAVORITA”
Blowing out his candles on July 25, Díaz is another Leo we’re celebrating. Díaz’s Leo traits show in his self-expression—specifically in the way he seamlessly and innovatively blends musical genres. His latest album, OMAKASE, is considered his most creative project to date, and you can tell in fan-favorite songs like “PERDISTE EL EMMY.” with Tainy and “NO PODEMOS SER AMIGOS.” But that’s not the only way he channels his zodiac sign’s creativity. His self-expression trait also shows in his fashionable looks that he routinely slays, even with an arm sling. Furthermore, by exercising his free will and dabbling in various musical genres, Díaz also shows off his sign’s leadership qualities. What can we say? He moves in his own way.
CSNDRA – "lovesick!"
Puerto Rican-American singer CSNDRA is another Leo we’re showing our love to this month. Known for her dreamy indie pop tracks like “cuida” with Jandro Blu, “DMLO,” and “LOVE U” with WHATUPRG, the singer-songwriter shows her sign’s creativity through her songs and music video aesthetics. On “lovesick!” she yearns for a lover in a laundromat, narrating a story about being infatuated with another. Produced by Motion Man, the video captures stunning colors and the overall excitement of falling in love. What’s more, she showcases her zodiac sign’s knack for being charismatic throughout the visual, engaging her audience’s curiosity in wanting to know what happens next.
Jennifer Lopez – “Rebound”
JLo is a great example of a Leo. She’s charismatic, a boss baddie, and creative in everything she does. She’s a successful businesswoman who has left her mark in multiple pillars: music, film, fashion, dancing, and more. We’ve seen her charisma in interviews, performances, and pivotal acting roles that in one way or another opened pathways for Latinas today. What makes her a standout star is that she wears her heart on her sleeve in her projects and romances, no matter what the outcome is. And that’s why we love this Leo—she gives us courage to live freely without the need for others’ approval. Pour one out for JLo on July 24.
Carlos Vives – "Te Dedico"
Vives, born on Aug. 7, 1961, is without a doubt another important figurehead in the Latine music industry. Vives’ Leo-coded leadership qualities, boldness, and loyalty have kept him on top of the Latine music game for the last four decades. Thanks to his classic hits like “La Gota Fría” and “Fruta Fresca,” and newer popular tracks like “La Bicicleta” with Shakira, the Colombian great has transcended generations and become a global pop star. And he’s not done with his legacy yet. He’s still touring and performing his classics with full energy. How’s that for living his best Leo life? We love to see it.
Demi Lovato – “Kiss”
Born on Aug. 20, 1992, Lovato is a Leo we need to talk about. Now, Lovato is known for staying on top of the pop industry after being Disney royalty—but she’s much more than that. We also want to give her her flowers for fiercely navigating the pop and overall entertainment industry’s ups and downs throughout her childhood and teenage years. Her sign’s courage, boldness, and loyalty to her fans shine through her resilience, her music, and the way she carries herself despite everything she has personally and professionally gone through. And that’s why we love this lioness—she’s a reminder that you can get through anything and reinvent yourself while at it.
