These 7 Songs by Virgo Artists Will Help You Ring In the Season

Who’s ready for Virgo season? Often known for being practical, supportive, and perfectionistic, Virgo is the sign we’re continuing our monthly listicle with, which runs from approximately Aug. 23 to Sept. 22. We’ve already celebrated our favorite Capricorns and Taurus; now we are keeping the vibe going with the third and final Earth sign of the year. Where did 2026 go?
There are plenty of talented Virgo artists in our ever-flourishing Latine music industry. One of the most iconic and beloved Virgos is Mexican singer and corrido pioneer Chalino Sánchez, whom we featured last year alongside other emerging and established acts like Reyna Tropical, El Malilla, Ysa C, Nicki Nicole, Joss ML, and Andria Rose. This year, we’re celebrating artists of the same level, such as Mexican icon Thalía, Colombian singer-songwriter Ela Taubert, Cuban-American figurehead Gloria Estefan, and Puerto Rican singer De La Rose. We are also spotlighting Mexican-American DJ queen Sara Landry, música mexicana artist Jasiel Nuñez, and the Puerto Rican salsa giant Marc Anthony.
There’s no doubt that each of the aforementioned artists thrives in their own pathway. But what doesn’t change is that—believe it or not—they have similar traits based on their Earth sign. Take Thalia, Estefan, and Marc Anthony’s legacy, for example. Each crossover icon has elevated Latine music with their perfectionistic trait and, at the same time, carved the way for younger generations today. They’ve also shown their supportive trait by collaborating with a diverse range of artists throughout their careers. What can we say? There’s a reason Virgos are known for being hard workers.
From Thalía’s latest Deorro-produced cumbia to Marc Anthony’s latest salsa collaboration, here are seven songs that celebrate these talented artists in their birthday month.

Thalía – “Cariño Mío”
One of Mexico’s biggest pop icons is none other than Thalía. Born on Aug. 26, 1971, the “Arrasando” singer has shaped the Latine pop realm with hit after hit throughout the last four decades. Like many Virgos, she’s known for her perfectionism and professionalism, which are apparent in her music rollouts, performances, and interviews. The detail-oriented diva is also known for her charisma and how she connects with her beloved fans, who are loyal to the bone. And it makes sense since she echoes that love back, keeping her fans on the heels of her every move.
Ela Taubert – “Hasta El Fin Del Mundo”
Blowing out her candles on Sept. 11, Taubert is another Virgo we’re celebrating this season. The Colombian singer is known for her pop with songs like “¿Cómo Pasó?”, “¿Para Qué?”, and “¿Y Si Eras Tú?”, which, solely based on their song names, show you how detailed and intentional this Virgo is when it comes to her craft. Her debut album PREGUNTAS A LAS 11:11’s rollout was one of the most cohesive and creative last year, filled with uniform song titles as questions that surely tickle a Virgo’s perfectionist brain. Now, she’s following her debut with a new era, spearheaded by a new blonde-haired look and a silver-coded aesthetic.
Gloria Estefan – “La Vecina (No Sé Na')"
Celebrating her birthday on Sept. 1, Estefan is an unstoppable Virgo who often gets her flowers for being one of the first crossover Latine stars in the U.S. With her Zodiac traits like being a perfectionist, detail-oriented, and a hard worker, it’s no surprise that Estefan is still a huge force in the music industry. As a Virgo, another trait she resonates with is being practical. “I came to be of service, I’m a Virgo, very grounded, and that’s my happy place, to be of service in any way possible…kindness is the most important thing to me, and…what we can offer each other, because we’re all in this together, we’re all sharing these experiences with whatever tools we came [into this life] with and whatever circumstances [we’ve had],” she said in a Forbes interview.
De La Rose – “LA MONDA”
Born on Sept. 18, De La Rose is in party mode this season. Known for her songs like “Q U E V A S H A C E R H O Y ?” with Omar Courtz, “Kyoto” with Egbert Rosa Cintrón and Courtz, and “NUBES” with Courtz, De La Rose is getting ready to embark on her upcoming Latin American tour this fall. From Cayey, Puerto Rico, this Boricua Virgo has already collaborated with other el movimiento stars such as Ryan Castro, Dei V, and Young Miko, to name a few. But the best is yet to come for the emerging star, as she’s breaking into other territories such as Latin America and the U.S. And we can’t wait to see how her music career flourishes.
Sara Landry – “GIRLBOSS”
Toasting to another year around the sun on Sept. 22, Landry shares the Maiden sign with all of the aforementioned artists. Many don’t know this, but the popular hard techno queen is Mexican thanks to her grandmother, who was born in Mexico City. “People are always very surprised that I speak Spanish and love all kinds of Latin music, like reggaeton,” she said in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times. With songs like “GIRLBOSS,” “Legacy,” and “Heaven,” the EDM producer, DJ, and singer has made a name for herself in the festival circuit. Moreover, she’s performed at countless important and massive festivals like EDC, Tomorrowland, and Coachella, showcasing her Latine roots throughout her DJ mixes. How’s that for representation?
Jasiel Nuñez – “Adicción”
Nuñez is turning a year older on Sept. 6. Known for penning hits like Peso Pluma’s “LAGUNAS,” his collaboration with La Doble P and Junior H called “BIPOLAR,” and his joint track with DannyLux called “CORAZÓN FRÍO,” the Mexican singer-songwriter has always shown his Virgo’s hard-working trait behind the scenes. Now, he is finally coming out of his shell with his own music. His latest album, NÓMADA, showed his songwriting and artistic growth, with collaborations with diverse talent like Paloma Mami, Ed Maverick, Ximena Sariñana, Rawayana, and Michelle Maciel. And you know what? Good for him for not staying in one lane.
Marc Anthony – “Como en el Idilio”
Marc Anthony is blowing out his birthday candles on Sept. 16. In some ways, Marc Anthony is a perfect example of a Virgo: hard-working, detail-oriented, and supportive. And his career’s trajectory is proof that he’s one of the greats. Earlier this year, he commemorated his legacy in a Las Vegas residency that encapsulated his career by featuring his repertoire and showing on the screens the milestones he’s achieved. But he’s not done putting salsa in the mainstream. Recently, he released “Como en el Idilio” with Nathy Peluso, ushering in the next generation of salsa music makers. Let’s just say this Virgo’s work isn’t done yet.
