Ñaka Ñaka - Digital Tsunami 068

“Digital Tsunami 068” by Ñaka Ñaka for the Digital Tsunami Series is a 56 minute exploration into experimental and noise music by Brooklyn based Mexican artist ñaka ñaka. This mix consists of rare sonic findings from the last 20 years and what seems like field recordings of electronic live shows. The vibes go back and forth between speed poles. The genre juxtapositions keep the dynamic interesting, while the recurrent big waves of solo harsh noises muffle the soft mist of synth harmonies that sometimes surface from the depth. – Delia Beatriz

DJs Pareja - Sí Señor (Los Mekanikos)

Out of a recent VA compilation release from electronic label Cómeme, comes techno floor banger “Sí Señor,” remixed by Mexico City duo Los Mekanikos. This piece is a tough set of foor to floor patterns led by dirty, arpeggiated bass and an 808 crash, accompanied by a small piece of vocal looping that gets tangled in some sort of reverb. Their raw and trance inducing brand of dance music never fails party goers and it’s just a delight for DJs when it comes time to mix and match with other tracks. – Adrián Méndez

_Elosi - Pussy This, Pussy That

This morning I caught this freshly-birthed upload to Soundcloudlandia thanks to Boston’s _Elosi, and I’m here to tell you now to keep an eye out for this one. Press play on this 30-minute mixtape for a brooding trip that glides effortlessly betwen downtempo rasteirinha, female-empowering audio snippets, and sweltering cuts that subversively flip the dancehall to dembow evolution. The message behind the mixtape is clear, while the hedonistic mantra of “mi nuh care” chants on repeat, keeping the club as the medium. – Sara Skolnick

Ynfynyt Scroll - Spring 2k15 Mix for NTS Radio

Current NYC resident Ynfynyt Scroll just pulled this pack of tropical driven beats for British NTS Radio, a platform that’s actually pretty into crazy electronic music. This mix includes some pretty dope originals and edits by the artist, as well as some favorites like El Alfa or DJ Nigga Fox, tracks by Track Meet label colleague AiR DJ, and Monterrey dark dembow honcho ZUTZUT. – Adrián Méndez

Arca - Xen (False Witness Unofficial Remix)

A very observant Soundcloud commenter on this track said, “this is so evil.” Yup, couldn’t agree more. Club remixer supreme False Witness took Arca’s now seminal “Xen” to new amazingly anxiety-inducing heights. Though the 2.0 version is anchored by droning snippets of the original, the kicks, claps, and signature False Witness sample pack takes the brooding original to hard house territory. – Sara Skolnick

MC Brinquedo - Roça Roça (Flying Buff Festival Trap Remix)

https://soundcloud.com/flying-buff/mc-brinquedo-roca-roca-flying-buff-festival-trap-remix-2

Man, when I saw the “Festival Trap Remix” suffix I totally got the goosebumps – like you probably did too – but then I listened to the tune respectfully. Even though São Paulo’s Flying Buff follows the orthodox trap method and common structure (expect drops) this time, “Roça Roça” does provide a new feel to EDM’s most decent phase. So yeah, if you like meta-trap or enjoy throwing trappy beats on a regular basis, this one will definitely be Shazzamed from your audience. – Eric Gamboa

Dos Flakos - The Magua Partycrasher (Dos Flakos "Jungle Sex" Mashup)

I’m gonna be real honest, Wiwek‘s Jungle Terror genre is problematic, to put it lightly. If anyone missed that whole conversation from 2010 to now about cultural appropriation and the unnecessary exotification of anything outside of the Europe, it would be that guy. The kids seem to like it, though, and can at least put an interesting spin on it. Dos Flakos from the Bronx throw in some of the better drum work with cuts from bubblin pioneer Chuckie and Genairo Nvilla for a post EDM banger. – Marco Gomez

Kilbourne - Mixpak FM 081 (Mixtape)

This mix is next level intense. Kilbourne is known to go very hard in her mixes, both online and live, but this is beyond panic-inducing. Kilbourne has made it very clear that she sees it for the EDM revival thats about to take place (see her Fact Mag Interview at SXSW) and thats all over this mix. Peppered throughout is a variety of other influences too, from Hip hop (Fetty Wap, Drake) , Pop (Sofia Reyes, Selena Gomez), Dembow (Los Teke Teke, Nicky Jam), Soca (Kerwin Dubois, Nessa Preppy), and all things fast and Caribbean. – Marco Gomez
