A.CHAL’s 2018 came to a close with EXOTIGAZ EP, a collection of reggaeton romántico and R&B tracks designed to soundtrack your cuffing season woes. It was a sign that the Peruvian-born singer, songwriter, and producer was plotting some bigger moves in 2019 – now, we may just have the first taste of that.
On Tuesday, Alejandro Chal was spotted in the studio with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. Chal posted a clip from the link-up on Instagram, writing, “So much love in the room last night.” In the video, Swizz and Chal pose for the camera while EXOTIGAZ‘s “000000” plays in the background. Chal is sporting his much-hyped black-and green Ropa Gaz line, which fans will be happy to know is finally available for purchase.
While there isn’t much info about whether this crew is tinkering on a remix of “0000,” creating brand new music, or just chilling, it’s definitely a good look for Chal, who spent much of the year linking with other industry titans (like Nicky Jam and 2 Chainz on the remix to “Love N Hennessy”).
