Two Latine artists are making history at the Rolling Loud festival. Today (June 5), Puerto Rican singer Anuel AA and Dominican superstar El Alfa were added to the lineup for Rolling Loud Miami.

In April, the initial line-up for Rolling Loud Miami was unveiled, headlined by A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti. Rising stars Ice Spice, Pink Panthress, Coi Leray, Central Cee, and GloRilla will also be appearing at the festival. Rolling Loud Miami will be taking place July 21 to 23 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Anuel AA and El Alfa will be representing Latine music at Rolling Loud Miami this year. Anuel AA will become the first reggaeton artist to perform at any of the Rolling Loud festivals. Last month, he performed in arenas across the U.S. on the Legends Never Die Tour. His set could include many artists in the hip-hop genre. Anuel AA’s last album LLNM2, released last December, included features from Lil Durk and Kodak Black.

For his part, El Alfa will be making history as the first dembow artist to be appearing at any Rolling Loud festival. He has helped spearhead the Dominican genre to global success throughout his career. In 2021, El Alfa became the first dembow artist to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City with a headlining concert. He has previously collaborated with artists like Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Major Lazer, and Lil Jon.

Another Latine artist who will be appearing at Rolling Loud Miami is Yovngchimi. The Latine trap rapper is a part of the new wave of artists who are emerging from Puerto Rico. Through collaborations, Yovngchimi has received co-signs from Eladio Carrión, Arcángel, and Anuel AA. Ice Spice, for her part, will be also gracing the festival’s stage with her hits “Munch” and “Boy’s a liar, Pt. 2.”

Tickets are now on sale for the music festival.
