Aterciopelados Announces ‘Genes Rebeldes Tour’ – Here Are the Dates

Aterciopelados is coming to the U.S. On Aug. 26, the iconic Colombian rock band announced their Genes Rebeldes Tour in support of their latest album with the same name. The highly anticipated tour will kick off at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA, on Dec. 4, and wrap up at the House of Blues in Orlando, FL, on Dec. 20. The band will also perform two dates in Canada.

“Attention United States and Canada 🇺🇸🇨🇦 Los Genes Rebeldes de Aterciopelados are coming with a tour you won’t want to miss 🎶✨,” the duo announced in Spanish on social media. “From coast to coast, we’ll get together to sing hits, classics, and celebrate the music that unites us. ✨ December will be a month of rebellion, colors, and unforgettable songs.”

After kicking off the tour in Los Angeles, Aterciopelados will continue their tour at the Music Box in San Diego, CA (Dec. 5); The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA (Dec. 7); and the Thalia Hall in Chicago, IL (Dec. 9). Following U.S. tour dates include the Sony Hall in New York, NY (Dec. 14); the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC (Dec. 16); and The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA (Dec. 17). 

The last stretch of the Genes Rebeldes Tour includes stops at the ZeyZey in Miami, FL (Dec. 19), and the House of Blues in Orlando, FL (Dec. 20). 

Formed by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, Aterciopelados has been known for their hits like “Bolero Falaz,” “Baracunatana,” and “Florecita Rockera” since the 1990s. Their latest album Genes Rebeldes includes songs like “Agradecida” with Camila Moreno and Gustavo Santaolalla, “Genes Rebeldes,” and “MOR.” The upcoming tour’s setlist is expected to include their classics, per their announcement and flyer.
