After two plastic chairs appeared at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico over the weekend, Bad Bunny revealed he’s staying home this summer. On Jan. 13, the Puerto Rican icon announced his historic “NO ME QUIERO IR DE AQUÍ” residency at the Choliseo. His summer concerts start on July 11 (for Puerto Rican residents only) and wrap up on Aug. 24.
“Casa,” Benito wrote online in a social media video. The new video shows the singer-songwriter walking by the posters of his past tour flyers. He says he appreciates the love everyone gives him and how he has the privilege to travel and perform thanks to it. He mentions that he wants to go back to places like Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, and Colombia. He also mentions that he wants to go to places he’s never visited, like Brazil and Japan, as well as other places he hasn’t visited in a long time, like Italy, London, and Spain. He wraps up the video by promising to reveal tour dates before the year ends, but for now, he doesn’t want to leave Puerto Rico. He ends the video by unveiling his new 21-date residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.

The new tour dates start with exclusive dates for Puerto Rican residents and later open up for international visitors. The first dates for Puerto Rican residents only are July 11 to 13, July 18 to 20, and July 25 to 27. Residency dates for non-locals are Aug. 1 to 3, Aug. 8 to 10, Aug. 15 to 17, and Aug. 22 to 24.
Social media users are thrilled about the new dates. An X user wrote: “The economic and tourism impact of a Bad Bunny residency at the Choliseo is enormous: thousands of visitors, full hotels, and a million-dollar boost to the local economy. Undoubtedly, one of the best news for tourism in Puerto Rico this 2025. ✈️🙌🏾🇵🇷.” Another X user commented: “Goal of the year: go to the choliseo to see Bad Bunny.”
Interested ticket buyers can register now for the residency’s online presale until Jan. 14 at 11:59 p.m. AST. For more information on tickets and VIP packages, check out the residency’s official website.
