You may have caught Bad Bunny’s performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday (who could have missed all those kids dabbing on the Sour Patch Kids float?) But if you blinked – or were actually spending time with your own family on Thanksgiving – chances are you didn’t see El Conejo Malo’s post-parade celebration with none other than Residente. After the parade, it seems that the Puerto Rican rapper met up with his friend and mentor following the festivities. Residente shared a snapshot of the meal with Bad Bunny and his younger brother Bernie Martinez, who also joined the celebration. In the caption, he wrote, “Pasándola cabrón con @mcbernie_ en baja en el fondo ? @badbunnypr pavo, cerveza y en medias.” Bad Bunny also posted about the get together on Insta: “Comiendo pavo y batata.”
This isn’t the first time that the pair has been spotted breaking bread. Back in January, the former Calle 13 frontman and trap en español poster boy grabbed a drink together. At that time, Bad Bunny joked about getting Residente drunk and convincing him to collaborate with him a trap song, since the Calle 13 alum has voiced his skepticism of the genre in the past. Meanwhile, Residente said he gave the younger rapper some advice about maintaining artistic integrity in the music business.
Either way, it seems the two rappers’ friendship continues to evolve. Check out the photos of the dinner below.
