After the biggest year of his career yet, Carin León is plotting his next U.S. tour. Today (April 25), the Mexican superstar announced the dates for his 2024 Boca Chueca Tour.
Not only has León helped música mexicana go global, but he has also pushed the genre to new places. On his Colmillo De Leche album, he blended influences of country, Americana, and blues into his songs. That fresh sound was best exemplified by his hit song “Primera Cita.” León has since become the first música mexicana to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, one of the most important stages for country music artists. Now, this summer, he will embark on another major tour of the U.S. following last year’s Colmillo De Leche Tour.
“Embarking on this tour is an exhilarating opportunity to share my new music with fans throughout North America and Europe alike,” the singer shared in a statement. “Taking my songs and the vibrant essence of música mexicana to a global stage is truly an honor.”
León’s 2024 Boca Chueca Tour will kick off on July 22 at the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, CA. From that date until the end of October, he will perform concerts in arenas across the U.S. León will visit major cities like Los Angeles, CA; Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; Houston, TX; and Nashville, TN. The stateside leg of his tour will wrap on Oct. 20 at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL.
Pre-sale tickets for the 2024 Boca Chueca Tour will be available starting on Tuesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Those will include VIP opportunities, which include a meet-and-greet with León. Tickets to the general public will go on-sale Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. local time.
León recently performed at both weekends of the Coachella music festival. This coming weekend, he will also make his debut at the Stagecoach music festival.
