Calling all Boss Bees! Chiquis is taking her music across North America. On March 11, the música mexicana artist revealed her upcoming Diamantes Tour. The tour will start at The Magnolia in El Cajon, CA, on May 30 and wrap up at the William Saroyan Theatre in Fresno, CA, on December 7.
“I am so ecstatic and cannot wait to kick off my DIAMANTES TOUR alongside my band, Banda Abeja Reina,” Chiquis said in a press release. I am ready to share this new, fresh, and one-of-a-kind concert experience, carefully developed with love for my U.S. and Mexican fans.”
She continued, “I want to personally invite all my Boss Bees to join me at every show in their flashiest outfits so we can shine bright together!”
The highly-anticipated tour is “a celebration of empowerment, self-expression, and unity.” It also commemorates the “Pedacito de Mí” singer’s fifth album, Bee Side (2023), which features a blend of banda, mariachi, country, electro-cumbia, and more.
After starting at El Cajon, CA, Chiquis will continue to Albuquerque, NM (June 1), Hidalgo, TX (June 7), Houston, TX (June 8), Irving, TX (June 9), and Atlanta, GA (June 14). She will then perform in venues in Greensboro, NC (June 15), Rosemont, IL (June 21), Indianapolis, IN (June 22), Winterhaven, CA (June 27), and Inglewood, CA (June 28).
Her last string of shows include Chandler, AZ (June 30), Wheatland, CA (July 12), Salinas, CA (July 13), Mexico City, MX (November 3), and Fresno, CA (December 7). Per the press release, more tour dates will come in the following weeks.
Fans will have the opportunity to buy tickets via presales leading up to the general sale. Through the Citi Entertainment program, the Citi presale will start on March 12 at 10 a.m. EST until March 14 at 10 p.m. local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week before the general sale that begins on March 15 at 10 a.m. local time. There are also VIP packages available for purchase.
