The next round of performers for this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards has been announced. Among the superstars added to the mix are Puerto Rican rappers Daddy Yankee and Anuel AA, Mexican icon Paulina Rubio, Mr. Worldwide Pitbull, and Canadian-Colombian singer Jessie Reyez.

Anuel AA is one of the most nominated artists of the night with 11 nominations. He’s right behind Daddy Yankee, who has 12 nominations. They are expected to perform their hit collaboration “Don Don” with fellow Boricua rapper Kendo Kaponi. Rising singer Rauw Alejandro is another Puerto Rican artist that’s been added to the lineup.

From Mexico, Paulina Rubio is expected to perform her smash hit “Tú y Yo” with electrocumbia king Raymix. He recently came out as gay in a watershed moment for regional Mexican music artists. A major act in that genre, Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga, is also slated to perform. Mexican trio Reik and songwriting legend Armando Manzanero are among the performers as well.

Carlos Vives will represent Colombia among the performers that night. He’s one of the biggest artists in the country while local rising star, Manuel Turizo, will also perform. Reyez, who has roots in Colombia, will be pulling from her Spanish catalog for her performance.

Along with Raymix and Joy Huerta from Jesse y Joy, Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán will be another artist from the LGBTQIA+ community performing at the awards. He came out as gay soon after Raymix did earlier this year.

The 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards will air live on Telemundo on Oct. 21. The show will take place at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
