The Guadalajara sextet welcome you to their birthday party in this video that only they could pull off.

Featuring a cast of weird characters and the band (the later playing both camps), the celebration soon turns into a humiliating experience for both birthday girls, singer/guitarists Sandra and Dafne, who get a bunch of brooms, irons, and other domestic tools for their celebration.

Produced by La Cooperativa Audiovisual for Metrofónica, “The Peter Pan Syndrome” is a multi-part song, ambitious yet playful like their best tracks. The song starts slow and a bit disturbing in a theatrical way only to give way to a poppier tune with synth overtones, revealing their awesome sense of melody; it goes back to the first section before exploding with sounds of crying before ending in a melancholic outro.

The band is preparing to hit the road and play a few shows in Spain to support their latest album, Il Visore Lunatique. They are seriously amazing live, so if you’re near, do not miss the chance to see them.

Descartes a Kant invite you to remember your worst birthday and celebrate it; as strange as it sounds, they make it seem like the best thing in the world.
