As Myke Towers is gearing up to release his next album, he wants to let fans into his world through a special Spotify project. Today (March 21), Remezcla is premiering the teaser exclusively from the Puerto Rican superstar’s mini-documentary, The Making of Myke. He also talks about what the project means to him.

Towers will release his new album La Vida Es Una and the Spotify documentary The Making of Myke this Friday. In the teaser for the project, we see him bringing one of his brand-new songs to life. From writing the lyrics to coming up with the beat, Towers then records the track in a studio.

“I want them to understand the importance of chasing their dreams and be inspired by what I’m doing,” Towers tells Remezcla about the message of his documentary. “They can work to achieve their goals.”

The Making of Myke will be a three-part series where Towers will take his fans through his album’s writing, recording, and production phases. He has so far previewed the LP with the hit “Ulala (Ooh La La)” featuring reggaeton pioneer Daddy Yankee. The song is featured on Spotify’s Viva Latino and Baila Reggaeton playlists.

“Many people wonder how I am during the creation process and how I get so many songs, what inspires me, the methodology I apply, and how ideas come to me,” Towers adds. “Usually, I don’t like to teach a lot, but I had to share something. I’m giving them a little preview.”

Towers’ La Vida Es Una album will include 23 songs. He also recently released the music video for his latest single, “Aguardiente.” J Balvin will feature on the song “Celos.” Ozuna will team up with Towers for “Conocerte.” He also enlisted Arcángel for the track “Don & Tego.” With his documentary, Towers’ fans will get to see the creative process behind the LP.

“I want to inspire my fans that you have to wake up every day with clear intentions and that if you stay constant, your dreams come true,” he says.

The first episode premieres on Mar. 23, the same date Towers’ album comes out.
