The Latin Grammys has its first round of performers. On Oct. 17, the Latin Recording Academy announced artists like Bizarrap, Feid, Carin León, Rauw Alejandro, and Alejandro Sanz are gracing the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) stage in Sevilla, Spain, on Nov. 16. The broadcast is set to air live via Univision, UniMás, and Galavisión at 8 p.m. ET.
The newly-released performers include Bizarrap, nominated in six categories this year, including major categories like Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” and Producer of the Year. Another performer is Feid, who is nominated for a total of five nominations, including Best Reggaeton Performance for “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo,” Best Urban Music Album for Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos El Álbum, and Best Rap/Hip Hop Song for “Le Pido A Dios.” Carin León is also bringing his música mexicana to the Latin Grammys. He’s nominated for Best Norteño Album for Colmillo De Leche. As for Rauw Alejandro, besides performing, his recent album Saturno is nominated for Best Urban Music Album.
Other performers include Alejandro Sanz, nominated for Record of the Year for “Correcaminos” alongside Danny Ocean and Song of the Year for “NASA” with Camilo. There’s also Maria Becerra, who’s up for four nominations, including Song of the Year for “Amigos” with Pablo Alborán and Best Reggaeton Performance and Best Urban Song for “Automático.” Another performer is Kany García, nominated for Best Regional Song for “La Siguiente” featuring Christian Nodal. The last unveiled artist to take the stage is Nodal, who is up for two nominations: Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album for Forajido EP2 and Best Regional Song for the aforementioned track with García.
The 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards will be held in Spain for the first time this year. More details are expected to be revealed closer to the official date.
