Trueno is joining forces with one of Colombia’s biggest stars. This evening (Jan. 30), the rising Argentine rapper teamed up with Feid for his new single “CRUZ.” Feid unleashes his rap flow with Trueno in the street-chic music video.
Last year, Trueno had a breakthrough year with his global hit “REAL GANGSTA LOVE.” The La Boca, Buenos Aires native paid tribute to different eras of hip-hop, especially to its Y2K sound that he grew up on, in his third album, El Último Baile. He pushed Latine rap into the future with “REAL GANGSTA LOVE,” which included a fusion of Afrobeats. Now Trueno is kicking off 2025 with “CRUZ” featuring Medellín’s finest Feid. The last time Feid collaborated with an Argentine artist was with Paulo Londra in 2022.
Trueno returns to his pure hip-hop roots in “CRUZ.” Feid is no stranger to hip-hop following his previous collaborations with DJ Premier, ATL Jacob, and Blxst. Backed by slick mid-tempo beats, Trueno spits bars in Spanish about being love-struck to the point that it’s like a religion. Feid flexes his rap flow that reflects his paisa (people of Medellín) heritage with his use of local slang. Argentina and Colombia collide by way of these two heavy hitters in this alluring Latine rap banger.
The music video for “CRUZ” shows Trueno and Feid performing the song outside of a convenience store of the same name in Miami. Next up, Trueno will perform at the 2025 Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco, Calif. in August. Earlier this month, he collaborated with Bad Gyal on her latest single “Angelito.”

Feid is currently nominated for his first Grammy Award. On Feb. 2, he will find out if he wins in the Best Música Urbana category against Bad Bunny, Residente, Young Miko, and J Balvin.
