Feid is celebrating his birthday in a special way. Today (Aug. 19), the Colombian superstar is releasing his albums on vinyl for the first time.
Feid turned 32-years-old today. Two years ago, he celebrated the big 3-0 milestone with the release of the single “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo,” which became his breakthrough hit. The music video, which was shot in his hometown of Medellín, Colombia, has over 456 million views on YouTube. Since then, Feid has become one of the most globally streamed artists on Spotify. This past year, he headlined his first arena tour of the U.S. The stateside leg of the tour concluded with his first sold-out stadium concert in Miami, FL.
On his birthday, Feid is looking back fondly on the success of “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo” and his music career so far. As a gift to his fans, he has made most of his albums available on vinyl. From early in his career, his second album 19, released in 2019, is now on vinyl. Feid’s 2020 album Ferxxo (Vol 1: M.O.R), where he started to use slang from Medellín in his songs, and his follow-up Inter Shibuya – La Mafia are also available.
Instead of the WhatsApp conversation, the Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos El Álbum vinyl features the original green cover art illustration. That special release includes the game “Put the Sunglasses on Ferxxo,” which is like “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.” Feid’s latest album Mor, No Le Temas a la Oscuridad and the EPs Sixdo and Ferxxocalipsis are also available on vinyl. Under a blacklight, hidden images appear on the Mor, No Le Temas a la Oscuridad cover. All the vinyls are available for purchase on Feid’s official website.
Following his birthday, Feid is getting back to work with his next concert tomorrow at the For Sol in Mexico City. That will kick off the Latin American leg of his Ferxxocalipsis Tour.
