Two former rivals are teaming up for a joint tour of the states. This morning (Oct. 27), Mexican rappers Alemán and Gera MX revealed the dates for the Rich Mafia U.S. Tour.
Alemán, who hails from Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, and Gera MX from Nuevo Leon are two of Mexico’s top rappers. For more than eight years, both artists were embroiled in a rivalry over who was the true leader of Mexico’s rap scene. In 2021, Gera MX scored a global smash with “Botella Tras Botella” featuring Christian Nodal. Alemán made a splash this year with his breakthrough hit “Te Quería Ver” with Netón Vega.
Alemán and Gera MX squashed their beef last year after joining forces for the joint album Rich Mafia Vol. 1. Now the stars will take the best of Mexican rap on the road with the Rich Mafia U.S. Tour. The tour kicks off next year on Jan. 29 in Denver, CO. The guys will also visit Salt Lake City, UT (Jan. 30), Wheatland, CA (Feb. 1), San Jose, CA (Feb. 3), Los Angeles, CA (Feb. 6), and San Diego, CA (Feb. 7). The tour will also make multiple stops in Texas, including El Paso (Feb. 10), McAllen (Feb. 12), Dallas (Feb. 13), San Antonio (Feb. 14), and Houston (Feb. 15).
The final stops of the Rich Mafia U.S. Tour will take place at Brooklyn, NY (Feb. 18), Minneapolis, MN (Feb. 20), and Chicago, IL (Feb. 21).
Pre-sale for Alemán and Gera MX’s tour will be available starting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets to the general public will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m. local time.
Earlier this year, Alemán released his latest album De Vuelta a las Andadas. Gera MX then put out an EP of unreleased songs called Las Que Escribí y Nunca Saqué.
