Two Latine hip-hop artists are joining forces on a new U.S. tour. The Mexican hip-hop artist Gera MX and the Colombian rapper Nanpa Básico are teaming up on Que Chimba La Raza Tour, announced today (July 10).

“I’m very excited to return to the stage in the U.S., but this time with Nanpa,” Gera said in a recent interview. “I love being in the States, and I can’t wait to play my new album for my friends del otro lado.”

The duo will embark on their 11-city tour starting at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA, on Aug. 31. They will continue to the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, on Sept. 1; The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA, on Sept. 2; and the 713 Music Hall in Houston, TX, on Sept. 7. The duo will then perform at The Pavillion at TMF in Dallas, TX, on Sept. 8; The Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ, on Sept. 10; and the Palladium Time Square in New York, NY on Nov. 2.

The last stretch includes performances at the Miami Beach Bandshell in Miami, FL, on Nov. 3; the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA, on Nov. 5; and the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO, on Nov. 9, before wrapping up at the Radius Chicago in Chicago, IL, on Nov. 12.

This isn’t the first time the duo has worked together. Recently, the artists collaborated on “Prohibida,” which currently has over 2.1 million views on YouTube. Last year, Remezcla premiered the rappers’ joint track “Lejos De Ti.”

“Gera and I are very close friends. We were in the studio for one of the several songs we have together, and I asked him if he could help me with a song on my record,” Nanpa Básico said at the time. “… I have learned everything [about the music industry] from him, basically.”

Tickets will be available through an artist presale starting July 12 at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale will start July 14 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. There’s also a Citi presale option taking place on July 11 at 1 p.m. local time to July 13 at 10 p.m. local time via the Citi Entertainment program.
