The annual South by Southwest (SXSW) festival is coming up! Every year, the massive multi-day conference and festival take place in Austin, TX, bringing together exciting creatives across music, film and television, and tech. This year, the events are taking place from Mar. 7 to 15 across the Texan city. The music showcases start on Mar. 10.

For those who aren’t familiar, SXSW hosts multiple conferences, festivals, and showcases. Founded in 1987, it’s self-described as “an essential destination for global professionals,” featuring sessions, music and comedy showcases, as well as film and television screenings. They also highlight exhibitions, award ceremonies, and opportunities for networking and professional development.

Each year, national and international artists showcase their music throughout Austin, performing at venues like Speakeasy, ACL Live at The Moody Theater, and Waterloo Park. This includes highly-anticipated official and unofficial showcases featuring popular and emerging Latine stars across diverse genres.

Last year, some of the Latine’s biggest artists, like Peso Pluma, Young Miko, and Christian Nodal, performed during the week. Rising artists like J Noa, Reyna Tropical, Estevie, and Los Aptos also took venues across the city, demonstrating that Latine talent comes in different BPMs and genres.

Who’s performing this year? SXSW has already announced some showcases and festivals.
