Here Are the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro Nominees

The nominations for the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro were revealed this morning (Jan. 22). The top nominees include Becky G, Carín León, Shakira, Myke Towers, Ángela Aguilar, Emilia, and more. A few new categories were also introduced this year.
Premio Lo Nuestro celebrates the best in Latine music across 44 categories. Mexican-American star Becky G and música mexicana phenomenon Carín León are tied as the most nominated artists with 10 nominations each. Becky G’s “Por El Contrario” with Ángela and Leonardo Aguilar and León’s “Primera Cita” are both nominated for Song of the Year. Their competition includes Karol G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” Shakira and Cardi B’s “Puntería,” Feid’s “Bubalu” with Rema, and Los Ángeles Azules’ “Perdonarte ¿Para Qué?” with Emilia. Becky G’s Esquinas and León’s Boca Chueca, Vol. 1 are also nominated for Album of the Year against Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, Bad Bunny’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, and Fuerza Regida’s Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada.
Shakira and Myke Towers are next up with nine nominations each. They’re both nominated for Artist of the Year against Karol G, Peso Pluma, León, Feid, Xavi, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, and Maluma. Emilia, Grupo Frontera, Ángela Aguilar, and Leonardo Aguilar follow them with eight nominations each. Among the new categories this year are Best Dembow Song, which includes El Alfa and Nfasis’ “Este,” Chimbala‘s “Che Che,” Lomiiel’s “Hay Lupita,” and Fariana’s “Dora” with El Alfa. Another interesting addition is the Best Pop Latin Fusion Song category with Latin Mafia’s “Siento Que Merezco Más,” Judeline‘s “Brujeria!,” CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso’s “La Que Puede, Puede,” Rawayana’s “Veneka” with Akapellah, and The Marías’ “Lejos De Ti.”
Mexican pop icon Thalia, Italian singer Laura Pausini, and Alejandra Espinoza will host the awards show. The 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro will air live on Thursday, Feb. 20, from Miami, FL, on Univision and ViX.
