For its 2025 edition, Premios Heat switched things up, leaving behind the pristine beaches of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for the fresh mountain air of Medellín, Colombia. The celebration stretched across almost a full week of events packed with panels, artist meetups, and strolls through the city. It all led up to a massive concert today (May 30).

The night’s big winners? Beéle and Karol G, who together took home 7 awards. Beéle walked away with Best Urban Artist, Best Artist from the Andean Region, and Best Collaboration for “La Plena” alongside  W Sound, & Ovy On The Drums, and Best Viral Song. Karol G, who recently dropped a documentary, snagged Best Female Artist, as well as Best Video and Song of the Year for “Si antes te hubiera conocido.”

Some of the top names in Latine music, including Bad Bunny, Feid, and Jay Wheeler, also won, even if they couldn’t attend the 2025 Premios Heat to pick up their awards in person.

In an unusual twist, fans were also able to grab bragging rights through Fandom of the Year, which recognized the fan clubs of pop artists. This year, Yailin La Más Viral’s Team Chivirikas took home the win.

The stage was on fire all night with performances by Nanpa Básico, Kapo, Luis Alfonso, Jombriel, Elena Rose, Yailin, DJ Adonis, and legend La India, who was honored with special award for her career.

One of the most touching moments was a tribute to merengue legend Rubby Pérez, who passed away in April, featuring Eddy Herrera, El Blachy, and Wilfran Castillo performing some of his classics, a beautiful nod to his legacy.
