Karol G made history as the first Latina headliner at Coachella 2026 (Apr. 12). The Colombian superstar sang recent and throwback hits and also brought special guests on stage for her first of two Coachella weekends.
Karol kicked off her headlining festival performance with a cave-turned-club theme, opening with an empowering intro about being wild and free. She started her setlist with “LATINA FOREVA,” then jumped right into “Un Gatito Le Llamó,” “OKI DOKI,” “Tá OK (Remix),” and “EL MAKINON,” inviting her first surprise guest Mariah Angeliq on stage with her. She also sang “S91,” “Tropicoqueta,” and “Papasito” on a larger-than-life, colorful macaw structure. She then invited an all-woman mariachi, Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, on stage to accompany her for “Ese Hombre Es Malo” and “MAMIIII” with Becky G.
The Colombian singer kept the high—and sexy energy—with her interlude of “A Su Boca La Amo” followed by a special remix of “GATÚBELA” and Daddy Yankee’s “Rompe.” Then, she sang an unreleased song with Cigarettes After Sex’s Greg Gonzalez called “Después De Ti.” After the heartfelt moment, she continued her sensual performance with more funk brasileiro, “Bandida Entrenada,” before giving the crowd a mix of “OJOS FERRARI,” all while dancing and getting wet in a pool. She also brought Wisin on stage for a solo medley of “Pam Pam,” “Saoco,” “Mayor Que Yo,” and “Rakata.”
After Wisin’s cameo, La Bichota continued with “Ivonny Bonita” with an intro by Cuban-American trumpet player Arturo Sandoval, “TQG,” “AMARGURA,” and a cover of Gloria Estefan’s “Mi Tierra” as an ode to the Latinas who paved the way before her. She also had her band perform a snippet of Willie Colón’s “La Murga” before singing a salsa version of “Tusa,” followed by a quick version of “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” Karol ended her set with a firework-filled, EDM remix of “PROVENZA.”
Karol G will perform her second 2026 Coachella performance on Sunday (Apr. 19).
