Here’s How You Can Attend Our Free Nuevo Noise Showcase in NYC

This is not a drill: Remezcla’s Nuevo Noise Live is officially back! The concert and editorial series partnered up with Elsewhere for the relaunch. The event is going down at Elsewhere in Brooklyn, NY, on Oct. 8. You can now RSVP for free on a first-come, first-served basis. The show will take place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Nuevo Noise Live is known to unite Remezcla’s curatorial and storytelling strengths to become the go-to platform for what’s new and next in emerging Latine music. This time, the series teamed up with Elsewhere for their first show in 2025. The two organizations aim to present a genre-blurring lineup of Latine artists that offers something for everyone, from warped dembow and slick R&B to sticky garage pop and experimental sounds that defy easy labels.
With that being said, the highly anticipated kickoff event will feature Bronx’s Afro-Latino and R&B bachata singer Chavi Leons, Dominican pop and electronic artist Mijita, and Puerto Rican jersey club and drill artist Bendi La Bendición. The event will also feature Ecuadorian-Lithuanian DJ Riobamba on the decks. From bachata to dembow to experimental club sounds, the night promises all good vibes and diverse genres. More than a concert, it’s a space to showcase our editorial vision while celebrating discovery and connection — and you’re invited.
The event series will also showcase resident DJs to match the night’s energy to ensure that Nuevo Noise Live isn’t just a show, but a night out to discover your next favorite act, all while perreando with your besties. If you’re not in NYC, the performances will be recorded and shared on RemezclaTV.
In the past, the event has featured incredible past artists such as Los Walters, NOIA, Balún, Loyal Lobos, and Angelica García, showing the series’ diversity. With Elsewhere’s mission to focus on presenting underground and unbound music “with love,” the partnership is one to keep an eye on and experience in person.
