Rising rapper KEVVO has teamed up with superstar J Balvin for his new music video “Billetes Azules.” Dressed as police officers, the reggaetón duo have fun on the other side of the law.

KEVVO is one of Puerto Rico’s artists on the rise. Last year, he experienced a career breakthrough with the remix of his hit “105F” with fellow Boricuas Farruko, Myke Towers, Arcángel, Ñengo Flow, Chencho Leone, and Darell. That music video has over 278 million views on YouTube. Now KEVVO is aiming for his next smash hit with Colombia’s finest J Balvin.

“Collaborating with one of the biggest artists in Latin music such as J Balvin has been an honor for me and we were able to unite two countries that are known for bringing joy all around the world through its music,” KEVVO said in a statement. “I learned a lot from working with Balvin and I am sure that this collaboration will mark a before and after in my career. Our followers will be able to enjoy this single that was made for having a good time.”

“Billetes Azules” harks back to reggaetón’s 2000s heyday. Reminiscent of something out of the Luny Tunes songbook, KEVVO and J Balvin let their swaggering flow run wild over the rough-around-the-edges beats. Both rappers take turns flexing their cash flows and party-hardy ways. KEVVO and Balvin join forces on a perreo of epic proportions that sounds familiar yet fresh.

In the music video for “Billetes Azules,” KEVVO and J Balvin play policemen that get into some unlawful adventures. By the end of chaotic visual, a cop car blazes on fire behind reggaetón’s dynamic duo.
