It’s not just us. Artists of all calibers are celebrating Bad Bunny’s Grammy wins. Stars like Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, Karol G, and more are showing support after the Puerto Rican icon made history at the 2026 Grammy Awards last night (Feb. 1).
Bad Bunny won three awards at the 2026 Grammy Awards. His first televised win was for Best Música Urbana Album, during which he used his acceptance speech to call out ICE. He said, “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say, ICE out. We’re not savages. We’re not animals. We’re not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.” Later in the evening, he also dedicated part of his history-making Album of the Year acceptance speech to immigrants: “I want to dedicate this award to all the people that had to leave their homeland, their country to follow their dreams.”
After Benito made history by winning Album of the Year, Lady Gaga was visibly emotional. When asked about her getting teary-eyed, she said, “I’m just so happy for him. And you know, what he means to people is so incredibly important. He’s a brilliant musician and human being. He’s so incredibly kind, and I thought what he said was incredibly important right now, and so inspiring. What’s happening in this country is incredibly heartbreaking, and we’re so lucky to have leaders like him that are speaking up for what is true and what is right.” Another pop star who showed support is Rodrigo, who shared his acceptance speech on her social media.
Spanish pop star Alejandro Sanz also praised Benito’s win online. “My heart is full of what happened yesterday. Congratulations to Bad Bunny for this huge milestone and to all the winners,” he wrote in Spanish. “But above all, THANK YOU for making your music a voice for what is good, beautiful, real, human, and TRUE.”
Latine artists and frequent collaborators like Tainy, Karol G, Feid, Rauw Alejandro, and Daddy Yankee also shared their support for Bad Bunny’s milestone. “It wasn’t adapted, it wasn’t translated, it wasn’t toned down… IT WAS IN SPANISH,” Karol G wrote in Spanish on her Instagram story.
Up next, Bad Bunny will continue his huge year by performing at the 2026 Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, on Sunday (Feb. 8).
