Listen: Delorean's "Destitute Time" [ESP]

Delorean’s latest single, the second advance from their upcoming Apar, is far more conventionally structured than most of their previous work. Hints of Foals’ jangly riffs and jolly, rapid-fire percussion are plastered all over “Desitute Time,” a title so misleading it falsely prepares you for the band’s blue period. But Ekhi Lopetegi and co are as cheery seeming as ever, never dropping the song’s pace too much, but never ascending beyond itself either.

Apar’s U.S. tour kicks off in the Bay come October, so if you live in any of these cities below, then you’re in luck. If you live in Bismarck, North Dakota, however, then you’re screwed. In more ways than one.

UPDATE: Now there’s a really white video, directed by CANADA’s Roger Guàrdia.
