Rauw Alejandro is baring his emotions through music. On Aug. 10, the artist just released “Hayami Hana By Raúl,” a sentimental track about his ex-fiancé Rosalía.

The new track’s title, which is the name of a Final Fantasy character, roughly translates to “Rare Beautiful Flower.” Hayami translates to “rare beauty”; Hana translates to “flower” or “blossom.” The ambient, piano-driven five-minute-long song starts by saying he made this song for when she wants to remember him. He mentions there’s nothing to hide; but that there are a few things he wants to let out of his chest.

Throughout the song, Rauw talks about how it’s hard for him to express himself but that they know everything about each other. He raps about how it’s unfortunate that couples don’t last anymore and wishes that the old couples could show them their tricks. He touches on their hardships, saying that he knows that everything gets more complicated with time but that he’s not blaming her for what happened. He mentions that being apart from each other is challenging, on top of pressure from the press, social media, and the whole world.

He then proclaims that he dedicates all his songs to her since his album Afrodisíaco. He reiterates that he can be many things but never a cheater — a rumor that circulated after the break-up news. He clarifies that this [presumeably the break-up] was something out of his hands.

To end the heartfelt song, he says he knows she will be the biggest artist and people will study her art. He raps: “Eres genuina, eres increíble, eres pura alegría, eres medicina / Tu me curas el corazón [You are genuine, you are amazing, you are pure joy, you are medicine /You heal my heart].” He also says that if they get back together in the future, he won’t fight destiny. The emotional song finishes with Rauw harmonizing in the background and a high-pitched voice singing, “Hayami Hana!”
