Los Tigres Del Norte, Cazzu, Pepe Aguilar & More to Play This Music Festival in Austin

The Bésame Mucho festival in Austin is returning for a second year. Featuring only a handful of female artists, the Texas edition will feature headliners like Peso Pluma, Pepe Aguilar, and Carin León. The festival will take place the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX, on Apr. 5.

Next year’s artist roster includes a heavier mix of the older and newer generations, unlike the past edition’s lineups that built its reputation by highlighting a nostalgic mix of pop, rock, and música mexicana artists. It also features fewer women artists than usual. Headliners include artists like León, Aguilar, Los Tigres Del Norte, and Ramón Ayala, in addition to newer voices in the scene like cousins Peso Pluma and Tito Double P. Other artists on the lineup include Edén Muñoz, Cazzu, Ana Bárbara, Hombres G, and Luis R Conriquez. Molotov, Proyecto Uno, Moenia, Kabah, and Banda MS are also performing that same day.
While the lineup features well-established artists like Banda Machos, Banda MS, Bronco, Enanitos Verdes, and Elvis Crespo, it also makes way for younger artists like Jasiel Nuñez and Edgar Alejandro, putting a twist to the festival’s usual lineups. Though it will be exciting to see if the festival could successfully tap into both generations, what could’ve made this festival lineup more balanced would’ve been including artists like Alicia Villarreal, Mariana Seoane, and Estevie to help represent the women in both generations that the festival’s seemingly now trying to cater to.
The festival’s presale starts on Friday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. CST. General admission tickets are currently $275, general admission plus tickets are currently $575, and VIP tickets are currently at $625. There’s also a platinum opinion starting at $950.
