Luis Miguel is giving back to Mexico in a huge way. On July 8, the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo, revealed that the Mexican superstar is performing for free at the Feria Nacional Potosina 2024 (FENAPO 2024) in the Teatro del Pueblo in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on Aug. 20. The massive fair will take place from Aug. 9 to Sept. 1.
“El Sol de México Llega a #ElForoFNP 🩷 ¡LUIS MIGUEL! 🌟 ¡GRATIS! en El Foro Teatro del Pueblo 🎤 de La Feria Nacional Potosina 2024,” the social media account for the national fair announced. “Del 8 de Agosto al 1 de Septiembre… ¡Aquí Te Queremos! 🎡 FNP 2🩷24 • #Fenapo #Fenapo2024 #FNP2024.”
Gallardo announced the star’s performance via Facebook Live. He told his audience in Spanish: “As promised, we are going to give you the guest artist of FENAPO 2024. The artist – I want to tell you that he was in Spain – and they could not give us the clearance [to announce] yet, they gave it to us right now… Let’s see if you know him.” He then revealed LuisMi’s attendance by putting one of his most famous songs, “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar,” on his car’s radio. He also invited the surrounding cities to San Luis Potosí for the free event.
During the live chat, the Governor also said that FENAPO 2024’s official schedule will be revealed in the next day or two. He mentioned other invited artists, such as Maluma and Black Eyes Peas. The fair’s official social media account has also announced performances by artists like Edén Muñoz, Junior H, and Gloria Trevi.
Fans are excited about the free show. An X user wrote in Spanish: “LUIS MIGUEL AT FENAPO NOMAMESSS.” Another X user commented in Spanish: “SO THE FENAPO ARTIST IS LUIS MIGUEL AJSJKAKSJSKSKSKS.”
